AIM :
To study the following rise time and fall time pulse width distortion of a laser and fiber optics digital transmission system and determine the propagation delay.
AIM:
To design a dipole antenna for 900 MHz using HFSS and analyse the following parameters.
1. Reflection coefficient (S-Parameter)
2. Electric field distribution (E-field)
3. Magnetic field distribution (H-field)
4. 3-D radiation pattern
5. 2-D radiation pattern.
EXPT. NO: 16 SIMULATION OF RECTANGULAR PATCH ANTENNA
AIM:
To design a rectangular microstrip patch antenna for 10 GHz using edge feed technique and analyse the following parameters.
1. Reflection coefficient (S-Parameter)
2. Electric field distribution (E-field)
3. Magnetic field distribution (H-field)
4. 3-D radiation pattern
5. 2-D radiation pattern.
Preamble: This course aims to
(i) Provide practical experience in design and analysis of few electronic devices and
circuits used for Microwave and Optical communication engineering.
(ii) Familiarize students with simulation of basic Antenna experiments with simulation
tools.
